Behind the leafy rise of Goodwood Hill a small empty flat site seemed an unlikely prospect for design drama. However maximizing the limited space we enhanced dynamic useable external living areas for activities, views, amenities on all levels of the building, even the façade. The landscape is folded like origami, and threaded throughout the 12 storey development providing gardens for all luxury apartments.
Our subtle softscape design enhanced the development residences providing an environment appropriate for the tree-lined neighbourhood. This is a residence that appears folded and formed by landscape. The language of the sloping planter beds and folded hedges is the key element to the facades, a distinctive visual feature for the entire development. Drawing from the beauty of the established forest vegetation of the Balmoral area, the planting scheme incorporates species native to Singapore and the Malay Peninsula, with stately Hopea odorata and gorgeous Cratoxylon cochinchinese trees predominant.
