NATIONAL GALLERY SINGAPORE

There are not just exhibitions going on inside the brand new National Gallery. Over the course of several open-days the Gallery was bursting with thousands of interested people flocking to see and enjoy the gallery spaces, public atrium, dining terraces and the elegant roof garden. And where there is a venue, people put on a show too!

The recent test opening of Singapore's new National Gallery was a huge success, with thousands of interested people touring the city's new cultural venue. Exhibiting all sorts of individual and group social activities the new indoor and outdoor venues have already become a well love part of the city. The joy people exhibit as they use public spaces for impromptu celebrations, meeting, gathering, recording and watching reminds us that landscapes are for people.
